Courses in music production that stand out. Gain both the technical and business skills needed for a sustainable career in the music industry.
Copenhagen Music Academy (CMA) offers hands-on courses for emerging and established producers who want real-world experience in a professional, client-focused studio environment.
All courses take place at MillFactory NuVenue Studios in Copenhagen — a 400 m² recording facility founded in 1985 and among the largest in Denmark. The studio combines state-of-the-art equipment, acoustically designed rooms by Andy Monroe, and an integrated video and livestreaming system known as NuVenue.
Courses are tailored to individual and group experience levels and focus on practical skills in recording, mixing, and mastering, alongside essential competencies such as workflow, communication, and the producer–client relationship.
CMA is led by Boe Larsen, a full-time producer, pianist, songwriter, and studio owner since 2000, with extensive experience as both an educator and examiner within the Danish music education system.
Courses run on a rolling basis and vary in duration, allowing students to build skills progressively.
